Japan Publicity has begun distributing the 2009 edition of the “Rafu Telephone Guide™” (audited circulation: 65,000 books) featuring a business directory of Southern California (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Palm Springs & Las Vegas ) as well as hundreds of “Information Pages” dedicated to helping Japanese adjust to life in America. The newest edition of the Rafu Telephone Guide™, trusted resource for the Japanese community in Southern California since it was first published in 1982, will be published end of May. Not only is it an extensive business directory for Los Angeles, San Diego and Las Vegas, but it also features useful information about life in the U.S., area guide maps, coupons, and this year, a new classified section. Ever evolving, the Rafu Telephone Guide™ does not fail to live up to its name as the “must-have” telephone bookThis year, perhaps a first for telephone books, the classified section has been added to the front color pages. Unlike traditional classifieds, the “Classi-fight!” section will run for the whole year that the Rafu Telephone Guide™ is in circulation, and will reach a large audience in Southern California and Las Vegas.

In the Information Pages, the popular Japanese-English Drivers License Practice Test comes back, along with Visa and tourism information to help our readers adjust to life in America so they can better Learn, Live, and Play in the U.S.

To make ourselves more environmentally responsible, we’ve condensed our information into a eco-slim book in our efforts to conserve precious materials, as well as include ways to recycle outdated phone books. The new 2009-2010 edition of the Rafu Telephone Guide™ will be available at your nearest Japanese supermarket and bookstores.

The book “Good thru 2010” issue can be found in Japanese markets, bookstores, and over 1,000 other distribution points throughout Southern California. Please contact any inquiries, photo requests, or questions.
